My Book Boyfriend:

Meme hosted by the Unread Reader

Today I'm celebrating the wonderful giveaway by Lish McBride. I loved this book and loved the male protagonist, Sam. He's snarky, smart and just plain lovable. Even finding himself in a precarious and unbelievable situation, he doesn't skip a beat and finds out that he is a capable person. It's just a fun ride with Sam and I can't wait to continue his adventures with him.

(my review of the book)

Hm... so who could play Sam. Someone who just seems likable and yet able to handle the most intense situation. I though of Steven R. McQueen:

Oh can I first say I need that bike and sidecar for my baby! :D Second, Steven is over 21 ;) but could still play the 19 yr old for Sam (yes! legal!). Oh I think he would work well in the YA section of the man harem.

So, who do you have this week? Don't forget to enter to win Hold Me Closer Necromancer! Go HERE to enter.

  3. I think 21 is a perfect age to go into your harem--you can train him up nicely :)

  8. Ha! Steven looks just like the guy on the cover. Perfect match. I love that sidecare. I wonder if I could get one for my road bike. I'm sure Ozzie would appreciate it, since I can't walk him while I'm out cycling.

I still remember your review of this one, it encouraged me to buy the book, but shame on me, I still haven't read it. I need to because I love it when guys have a lot of snark in them.

  13. The YA section of the man harem?! LOVE IT! I have so many I'd like to add, though in my head their all in their twenties instead of teenagers so it's less creepy for me to be crushing on them. Love your pick, I thoroughly enjoyed Steven when I was addicted to the Vampire Diaries:)

  19. He's 21? He really looks more like he's 16. Although, he's kinda sexy in that bottom pic. He definitely has a baby face quality about him. I've heard good things about Hold Me Close Necromancer. Me thinks I should give it a try! :) (look at me all commenting and shit. LOL! ;))

Here's some random thought for you...ever noticed how the books we read influence how we talk? I recently finished Chasing Magic and have this incessant need to cuss. Oops. *HUGS*

  20. I really have to read this book already. I keep forgetting about it and then coming across another rave review of it that reminds me that I really need to read it... Ok, I'm adding it to my Goodreads list now so it's as good as read. (ha!)
