1. Just after Atticus is shot, Oberon has to "ninja" his way out of the shop and into Hal's Beamer (with the icky air freshener). Have you ever been in a situation where you had to "ninja" your way out and try not to be discovered? If so, what happened?

Not that I can think of or chose to remember. LOL I know if I tried to "ninja" my way in or out of anything I'd trip. *sigh* Yes, I'm coordinated like that. :)

2. Atticus's main goal through a large portion of the book is not only protecting Oberon, but also protecting the sword. You are now living in a paranormal world and you need a weapon! What weapon do you choose and what can it do?

My first choice of weapon would be a smexy were or vampire. Oh wait... weapon.. not eye candy! Hm.. perhaps a sword. However, I don't know how to use said sword, so I'll probably end up cutting off my own fingers. Perhaps my best bet is to find a way to avoid true fighting and run! Hey, no shame in staying alive. :D

3. To recharge and heal after being shot, Atticus sleeps naked, tattoos to the earth, in a patch of grass near the Civic Center in downtown Scottsdale. Where is the weirdest place you have ever slept?

Probably in a van near a field of corn. Sadly, not very interesting at all. There was no room at the inn so to speak so I slept there with my dog. Not very comfortable.

4. We finally find out some very interesting information about Granuaile and I don't know about you, but I certainly wasn't expecting to find that she's sharing her head with someone else. What about you, did you expect anything along those lines? If not, what were you expecting concerning Granuaile?

I knew she knew more than what she was saying. In fact Atticus suspected she was more than human. I didn't suspect her sharing a body, but then I wasn't suspecting much. I was just letting it unfold before me.

5. Laksha is a witch, a truly evil one at that for many of the things she's done in the past. However, she's supposedly seen the error of her ways. Do you think she really has? Would you be willing to trust her? Do you think Atticus is smart to have decided to trust her to help him with the "other" witches?

Has she seen the error of her ways? I think there is good reason for her playing nice right now. No, I would not be too willing to trust her at lest completely. I would trust that her goals are true and in that (as long as they coincide) I would trust her doing her part. Since Atticus's goals are the same (or close to it) he can trust that she will help with the other witches, but always know that there can and most likely is something more "up her sleeve" so to speak.

  1. Oh I totally think a were or a vampire would be a great weapon. So what you are saying is you want the weapon of mind control over your harem? I think that is a PERFECTLY valid answer :)

Oh I like how you think where Laksha is concerned--their goals are aligned so maybe trusting her is the wrong word. He expects her to do what she has to in order to meet her goals and since they are similar they can work together.

    1. Mind control... na, I don't mind the control... ;D

I think you are right. Trust isn't the right word and it was giving me trouble.

  2. You make a good point about Laksha and Atticus sharing a similar goal. I never thought about it like that. We usually associate Atticus with being the good guy and Laksha as the shady/leaning towards the bad side, but if you look at their goals at this point, they're pretty much the same. Nice observation!

    1. Well, at least part of their goals are the same. :) Hopefully for Atticus's sake, they extend a bit further than it seems. :)

  3. Great questions and answers. i'm fascinated and mystified by your mention of an icky air freshener.

The cheek of it though - Husband dearest has just pointed out that I couldn't ninja myself out of a wet paper bag.

As for weapons? I'd love one of those lightsabers as used in Star Wars.

    1. It was Oberon's icky air freshener. That was too funny. Although I agree with him on those things. :P

I think I'd cut my own arm off if I had to use a light saber, but would be cool if I had the force with me. ;)

  4. Lol...a vampire who knows how to use his weapon is a very powerful thing *winks* lol :)

I cannot believe that your weird place is near a cornfield too...that makes like 4 of us so far...It's like the corn calls to us...sleep here...sleep here...

    1. Okay, I like the way you think. :D

I guess we are all children of the corn! *cue scary music*

  5. No harm in running. Better to stay alive to be s scardy cat another day.

In a van by a corn field. There is mo way. I'd be scared out of my mind.

    1. Well, considering I have no skills with weapons, it makes the most sense. Now, if I had said skills, then sure I'd fight. :)

Na, the corn never did me any harm. Me, however, with a pot of water and some butter... well, the corn can't say the same about me. :)

  6. Eye candy is an excellent weapon. Distracts the bad guy while you hie yourself to safety! Very smart...hard to die when you're long gone.

    1. I'm beginning to think that I did chose an excellent weapon to start with... ;D

  7. Ha. I feel like I'd be graceful up until the point I actually HAD to be graceful (like ninjaing my way out of something) and then I'd get all klutzy.

    1. LOL I don't know if I could be graceful in any situation. LOL

  8. Ha, ha, perhaps your supernatural weapon could be an ability - to run at the speed of light. I would also be very clumsy and was just saying to another blogger I would probably cut my toes off.
I would not be able to sleep next to a cornfield - seen too many horror films!
    Thanks
    Lynn :D
Actually - couldn't your eye candy protect you? Does that make them a sort of weapon?

    1. I was thinking that the supernatural eye candy could protect me, but it felt like I was being such a "girl" even though that is what I am! LOL Especially since I like it when a girl has skills. I just sadly don't right now. LOL

  9. Who says a werewolf and vamp said eye candy can't be used as weapons? Sleeping in a van by a corn field, well it is better than Unabridged Andra who slept in the corn field...yikes Children of the Corn Images. I won't go near a corn field after dark. No thank you. Yes, Atticus and Lashka better get that snit Emily for taking Oberon.

  10. Ahhhh yes, I would LOVE to have me a Hot were for a weapon. Talk about having your cake and eating it too. LOL!!!

  11. Corn fields for the win!! My stay there wasn't so innocent though. lol

  12. Your mind is always in the gutter. I love it. ;)

  13. Your first choice of weapon is great, they can act as your bodyguard, and they could teach you how to do killer moves.

Of course if your slight lack of coordination hampers the learning of those killer moves then not to worry, you'll just have to spend a little longer in your training sessions with your gorgeous sweaty guy ;)

  14. Absolutely no shame in running!!! I've cut off a finger tip with electric hedge clippers so I can totally see your point!!!

  15. Super excited that I am going to start this series today!!!

  16. "avoid true fighting and run" - Haha! Makes me think of the Holy Grail: "Run away! Run away!" Yeah, I'm a cowardly geek :)

  17. Melissa! Can I lick your brain? Seriously, picking a sexy vampire as my weapon of choice, you can't go wrong with that!

Oh, and yeah, if I didn't have my sexy vampire on hand because it's day time or something, running away would be the next best option. :)

  18. Oh I do want to get to this book. Sounds so good. :)

  19. Corn fields scare me shitless. And, I suppose you could count a sexy vampire as a weapon, because they really are, but so not fair! Mostly because I didn't think of it first.

And, that's the only reason I didn't pick a sword. I'd have cut myself. No doubt about it. I'm good like that.
