What I have been enjoying about steampunk is that different cultures and time-lines get blended into the costumes and worlds which I find so interesting. This is a world in which almost anything can happen in a pioneering way. I hope you find it as interesting as I do. However, coming this week:
An author who was the inspiration for the week! A great guest post and giveaway by Philippa Ballantine! Squee!
There also may be other giveaways within the week as well... *looks mischievously* so you need to stay tuned. :)
Of course if you are new to the genre, I have some reviews I hope that will inspire you to pick up your first book to enjoy. There are some great books out there and not just the few you have heard about! So, I didn't add the Gail Carriger series (ebooks 1-3 discounted right now for $9.99 details HERE) or The Iron Duke only because it already has so much "press" out there in bloggy-land. Doesn't mean that I forgot them or don't love them, just that I wanted to show there are more books in the genre out there.
I do hope though that you will enjoy the week!
