My Book Boyfriend

Let's see... this week's book boyfriend is half Valkyrie and half Vampire. He has dark skin, a wild afro, is handsome, has amber wings, and helps Sarah look after her wayward brother. From LA Banks, Shadow Walker I present to you... Val.

Of course, he would be much older when I met him (I'm not into jail bait for heaven's sake! lol) but I can wait a bit until he is of age. *wink* Anyway... here is one reason I liked Val. It's as Sarah, the main character describes how she feels when she is with him:

Someone caring had asked. Someone respectful hadn't assumed. Someone patient and with a different perspective had seen her beauty. Someone had cared. Every living being wanted to be cherished. In that moment, she knew that she was. 

You tell me that wasn't swoon worthy? *swooing* What did I see in my head when I saw him? This is why this gets hard for me. I never find the person who matches my head unless I hear it first from the author who was her/his inspiration. However, I looked and I found an athlete (he had to be an athlete) who might be what he looked like when he grew up. I present Will Demps who plays safety for the Houston Texans.
