Mom also wanted me to introduce what she will be giving away for my birthday. I don't mind as long as I still get a special treat on my big day. ;) I thought it would be nice to give something for the kitties. Even though we don't have one in the house, I do enjoy watching them when they come nearby. They are so interesting! Anyway here are the prizes for the kitties:
First is the ARC of Dewey's Nine Lives. Mom couldn't get through that one. It had a few bitter-sweet stories and it wasn't too long ago when mom lost her kitty of 14 years. She also lost 2 shelties (both 12) not too long after. So, this one was hard for mom to get through. She is certain that other people would love the sweet and uplifting stories in the book. Mom is just a wimp (don't tell her I said that) and she did LOVE the stories on Dewey which were sprinkled throughout the book. The kitties also get a cool toy mom won't let me play with. *grumble*
Of course, we must celebrate puppies (especially the females!... what mom? Okay, all puppies. Even the male ones. There. Happy now? sheesh). For the puppies:
First is that book called, Oogy! Mom recently did a review of the book HERE! He sounds like a great dog and one I would LOVE to play with! Oh, I SO love to play! Mom says it's another example that people should judge a dog by it's breed, and be informed with correct information. I don't get why humans do that. I mean you all look alike to me! Well, the ladies are different, but still... all the same as far as I'm concerned. Oh, and she added a cute puppy calendar with a small pocket calendar to go with it. Boy, I wish I could play with those pups! Oh, and the last blank wall-leash hook thing needs a bit of explanation... Mom did this in a craft swap:
The bolts on the side are on him because his name was Frankenstein. Anyway... mom couldn't find those hooks again so she had to sand off a picture of a hook and put gesso on it. So, if you tell mom the breed (which is easiest) or send a pic if it is a mixed breed then she'll make a cartoon type acrylic painting on the gessoed board. Sound okay? Now remember, only one dog for the hook so that mom can get it out as soon as possible. It is also not intended to be totally realistic, but fun. AND BTW, MOM... where is mine? How come you haven't done one of me? I'd be totally cute in one!! *harrumph*
Oh, and mom made a button if you would please advert on your blog. The puppy in the button is quite handsome if I do say so myself. :D I'm still trying to figure out what mom likes about these things...

Just fill out the form below for a chance to win my fabulous prizes! It's US only. Mom wanted to make it international, but the post office is getting expensive (whatever that means). Oh, and the contest ends on the 20th. Yep... lots of time to celebrate ME!
Giveaway is now closed. Thanks for playing!
...and mom... if you post that picture of me again with the mistletoe... I will NOT shake hands next time you ask. Wait... you have one of THOSE treats? Fine... but I still protest! Wait... will it get me more kisses? Hey! This may not be a bad gig after all!
Merry Kissmas everyone!

Ah, that dog is so cute. ;)
ReplyDeleteHe had a great b-day today. Took him to the dog store where people cooed over him and he got to sniff a couple of small dogs (he loves small dogs). Made him liver cupcakes (hey, don't give me that face, the dogs loved them) and he is now snoring next to me. Guess it was a good day for him after all. :)
