Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a new play by Jack Thorne, is the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. It will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on 30th July 2016
It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes darkness comes from unexpected places.
This is one of those... DUH! Of course I want the book NOW ones... :D
So what is on your wishlist this week?
Ha. I think this one's on everybody's wish list. :)
ReplyDeleteI know... that is why I duh'd it. LOL :D

ReplyDeleteI know!! *fans Jenny*
DeleteI will want to read this, although I hear it is going to be written screenplay/script style. Still need to know what happens! Great pick!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my WOW
I can deal... even if it isn't my fave style to read. :)
DeleteWait, who are her co authors?
ReplyDeleteJack Thorne and John Tiffany. Makes me curious. :)
DeleteNice one :)
ReplyDeleteIt is. :)
DeleteThis is definitely on my list as well and I'm so curious about it!
ReplyDeleteWe all needs it. :)
DeleteDEFINITELY!
ReplyDelete:D
DeleteWell ... I haven't even read or watched the originals, so ... doubt I'll read this. Hope you get it though.
ReplyDeleteNO! Say it isn't so! ;)
DeleteAh yes I want to try this one too
ReplyDeleteAgreed. :)
DeleteAgghhhh! Not at all sure about this one. Not a book I could otherwise see myself wanting BUT it is Harry Potter. Perhaps one I'll reserve at the library (I dread to think how long the list of people awaiting it might be) and then buy a copy if I like it.
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter! Yea, reason enough.
DeleteThis seems like it might be darker - I really love that cover too.
ReplyDeleteKaren @For What It's Worth
I know... I'm very intrigued at to how dark...
DeleteMy copy is preordered!!!
ReplyDeleteGIMMIE!! :)
DeleteI'm curious to see how this goes. At the bookstore we had drama with ordering it because apparently they only want to sell in major mass quantities, which we can't afford (and we won't sell them all). But we ARE curious as to whether people will be wanting it. No one has asked to make sure it's in on time. Which is odd.
ReplyDeleteAw... that is too bad as I think indie bookstores would do better with this than big box stores... especially with the format.
DeleteWow! More from the world of Harry Potter! Got to love that!
ReplyDeleteI know! :)
DeleteI do have this one on my wish list, but I'm a little apprehensive. I know Rowling had a hand in it, so I have to trust it will be good; however, I just loved how the series ended and I worry what this will do.
ReplyDeleteI agree and honestly I had a few problems with that last book even though I really enjoyed it. So, I share the nervousness. :)
DeleteSorry to say, I haven't read and watched any of the Harry Potter's But I certainly hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNO! Say it isn't so! ;)
DeleteOh yes, I want this one.
ReplyDeleteMost of us do! We have good taste. LOL
DeleteI like that this sounds like it has a bit of a twist to it. :) Great addition to your list!
ReplyDeleteI'm so curious!
DeleteI've, erm, never read one. *ducks and hides* lol
ReplyDeleteHow DARE you! ;) LOL! Now I'd be SO curious to see what you think of them. :)
