My book boyfriend this week comes from The Restorer (Graveyard Queen) by Amanda Stevens (review up on the 13th). Devlin, the charismatic, dangerous (possibly in more than one way), protective, intelligent, haunted, and caring man who I thought was totally swoon-worthy. Now, his character has some filling out to do, but I think we don't have the full vision of him because there are some secrets that still need to be revealed in the coming books. I can't wait to see what else is there. ;)
Ah but for this addition to my man harem who could it be? He was dark and strikingly handsome. Hm... I was watching NCIS when it hit me! Sam Witwer. You might better know him as Aidan in SyFy's Being Human. I think he would make a great Devlin.
Possible as a detective?
Gratuitous shirtless pic...
Well... he does look good in a uniform!
So what do you think?
Good addition to the man harem? ;D
...and your addition?
Definitely a better addition than your last one. I am too poor to own a harem but why should I bother anyway, I can always visit yours. ;p
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Devlin ! I can totally imagine Sam Witwer as Devlin :)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh I have this to read but haven't got round to it yet. I will need to take a lot. Love the shirtless picture.
ReplyDeleteMy book boyfriend
You had me at Devlin--how can anyone resist that name? And I love your description of the man as "protective, intelligent, haunted and caring." Lovely pics to round off the post--looking forward to your review of the book!
ReplyDeleteI am reading this book right now and I can say you cast Devlin perfectly! I am about halfway through and really liking it (creepier than I thought it would be but totally awesome)!
ReplyDeleteI reserve the right to borrow him though :)
Plus Sam W. is the perfect choice and he has totally played a detective before :)
I just read this last week, so I can say that even though I've never seen Sam Witmer, he would be a good fit. Especially in that last picture - he definitely looks haunted. And as for that shirtless pic...yum! ;)
ReplyDeleteDangerous and protective always get instant membership for the man harem! LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you for that shirtless picture! It woke me up better than my morning coffee!
No, not my cup of tea, you can keep him.
ReplyDeleteOooo good addition indeed. He does look pretty in a uniform doesn't he? And also shirtless. He definitely looks good shirtless:)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely has the broody-ness of Devlin down! I kinda want to do my best to make him laugh... :)
ReplyDeleteI want to read The Restorer!!! And if Devlin looks like this... I'm feeling WAY freaking left out!!!
ReplyDeleteHihi, I say yes to that :D
ReplyDeleteThis book is on my wishlist...I just might have to buy it sooner than I had planned! hehe!

Haven't read this but looks great. An excellent harem addition! I love him on Being Human!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, I always try to pair my character BFs with a face in which to represent but I am spit-poor at doing so.
ReplyDeleteWith that said, Hubba Hubba!!! Love the representation here!
