I just wanted to let you know that I may be a bit MIA for a couple of days. I tried to keep up, but I can't so I'm giving myself a bit of a break. I'll be visiting blogs again real soon and getting my reviews down in no time. I just didn't want anyone to think I forgot about you.
What happened:
I scratched my cornea (well, I'm guessing) and I am wearing a eye patch to see if it will clear it up so I don't have to go to the doc. I've been seeing the world through one eye and being on the web is giving me a headache. So, I'm missing my bloggy reads and my book reads, both which is making me sad. At least I got the blog updated. :D
Those that I owe a review... will get to it ASAP. Everything scheduled will go on as planned. Emails may be late, but I'll get to them ASAP as well. Will monitor the blog, but can't read for very long so no worries there.
Well, I've actually spent too much time on the thing and I'm off to buy a parrot. Maybe a monkey... I'm just wondering if I should go for a small pirate hat or the full feathered version. Decisions, decisions...
Edit: I'm dual eyed (yay for depth perception!) and going to the doctor tomorrow. :P I'm still taking that break so I don't strain the eyes though. *whines~ but I wanna read!* Thanks for all the well wishes even though it's not serious at all.
Hm... since I didn't have a chance to get my parrot, what am I going to do with 100 lbs of bird seed and a wooden leg? I know! Crafting time! ;)
O that is nasty, hope everythinig will get well, bot don't wait too long visiting your doctor please.
ReplyDeleteOuch! I hope your eye recovers quickly. Enjoy the time off! It's good to take a creak from blogging now and then.
ReplyDeleteYikes, icky! I hope you will be fine soon
ReplyDeleteI bet you're rockin that eye patch like it's nobody's business:) So sorry that happened though, and I hope you're feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon, Melissa!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon. I know the feeling, just yesterday I got some soap in my eye and it stung!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. The last time I did that (pincone to the eye) it sucked. Hope it gets better soon.
ReplyDeleteOuch! I hope you get better :)
ReplyDeleteSo one of your boy toys got WHAT in your eye? Hehe! Love you! Feel better!
ReplyDeleteThat is so not nice to make me widen my eyes and then tear from laughing! Only you! LOL
DeleteOh dear! I was wondering about you. I hadn't seen you around and I always see you somewhere. :) Do take care and hope your visit with the doctor goes well. :)
ReplyDeleteOwwww. Hope your eye's all better soon, but until it is, milk it for all it's worth!
ReplyDeleteMelissa all you did was bend at the point you were supposed to lay flat, glad it is better now get off the computer! :-) *b*g* (stupid phone auto correct) :-(
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! And you can't even read while recuperating!
ReplyDeleteEye, eye, cap'n!
Good luck, I hope everything will be all right soon. Take care!
ReplyDeleteI hope your eye gets better soon!
ReplyDeleteI will keep watch over your harem to make sure none of them escape. I can't promise I won't steal a few (and we still need to discuss the Sammy thing---I believe he was mine first) but I will leave your favorites (for now)!
HEY! Why is my harem empty?????
DeleteFELICIA!!!!!!!!!
Just for that, when my eye pops out of my head, I'm sending it after you! Beware of Mel's zombie eye! *evil laugh*
Oh ouch! I hope it wasn't one of those Hex boys!
ReplyDeleteYou know you can't play with them yet! They aren't done yet.
All kidding aside, don't wait too long to go to the eye doctor. You need your peepers! Hope it heals soon!!
Heather
Hoping all is well soon, take care.
ReplyDeleteOh what a saucy pirate you would make! But you need to have the depth perception to fully appreciate the gorgeousness of your harem. Hope all is well soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteIf you get some peanut butter you can always make a bird feeder with the peg leg and all that bird seed!
I'm so glad you have 2 eyes now. I hate when I'm one eyed as well and can't do anything. I'm pondering on what to do with the bird seed and the peg leg. Maybe turn the leg into a really cool septor. You could just walk around with it. You could totally own that septor!
ReplyDeleteBahahaha! I did the same thing a few months back as well! Thankfully I didn't have to wear an eyepatch though (I just had to go to the optometrist every week). Glad to hear that all is well now!
ReplyDeleteMelissa! The other day, I think I got a few bits of my facial exfoliater in my eye. It hurt like crazy, and my poor eye watered the whole day. So, I know your pain, but it does sound like you got it worse. :(
ReplyDeleteTake care of you, and I say go for the Parrot. :)
Oh dear! You've not been around. I'm worried about you. I do hope you went to the doctors and all is well. Miss ya! *hugs* Get better soon.
