Sunrise (Ashfall #3)
466p.
TBP: April 14, 2014
Publisher: Tanglewood Press
When it becomes apparent that their home is no longer safe and adults are not facing the stark realities, Alex and Darla must create a community that can survive the ongoing disaster, an almost impossible task requiring even more guts and more smarts than ever — and unthinkable sacrifice. If they fail . . . they, their loved ones, and the few remaining survivors will perish.
This epic finale has the heart of Ashfall, the action of Ashen Winter, and a depth all its own, examining questions of responsibility and bravery, civilization and society, illuminated by the story of an unshakable love that transcends a post-apocalyptic world and even life itself.

oh it's a nice new cover!
ReplyDeleteWow, I actually like this one! I think the covers for this series have been quite good and I'm curious to see how this trilogy wraps up! Thanks for sharing, Melissa!
ReplyDeleteThis is a GREAT series...but that cover is just not doing it for me. I mean, I like the green and entwined hands but, if I hadn't read the other books, it just wouldn't intrigue me. *sigh* I'm so picky lately!
ReplyDeleteLove it! It just suits the story so well with the dirt and the grime, and I love that bit of green at the bottom. It give it just a touch of color and of course makes it seem as though the world might be slowly coming back to life in this one:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the cover :)
ReplyDeleteI always have minor issues with this series, but I absolutely adore Darla. She's one of the most memorable female characters I know of, so I'll read this for her alone. And I SO love the cover. :)
ReplyDeleteI would so not survive that
ReplyDeleteWhat? book three already! This series has been on my list, I guess I need to get started :)
ReplyDeleteLove this cover! I had completely forgotten about this series until I saw this, and I did a little YAY yell. :-) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've heard a lot of good about this series, I'll have to make sure to pick it up eventually!
ReplyDeleteOh I've heard so many good things about this series. Love the cover - creepy.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love your Halloween design!
I really like the look of the sky! Very cool.
